The abrash inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.

Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

Not as good quality as last rug purchased

Rug looks fine and similar to pics however quality is down on similar rug I purchased approx one year ago. That rug has a thick pile and is hard to distinguish from a good woolen rug by feel. The new rug has a thinner pile and feels like a 'plastic' material - like the cheaper polyprop rugs we used to see in the past
