The abrash inspired design of this rug includes darker to lighter colour transitions, colour fading, colour striations & a colour distressing effect.

Abrash is a term used to describe colour variations that can occur naturally over time in a rug that has been woven from different lots of small dye batches.

We are really happy with our rug as it has that rustic and ‘imperfectly perfect’ look that we wanted. I do not have a photo yet as we are waiting for our puppy to stop chewing things before we put it in place. I will send one when that happy day occurs.
